PianoI play and write music on occasion, mostly on piano. I obtained this lovely antique Mason & Hamlin thanks to the fact that it probably at one time resided in a bar/honkytonk. The individual who owned it prior to me was converting to a religion that would have forbid him to own such an item. I paid to have it moved to my place, and voilą, it was mine. The picture is a bit dark, but yes, the piano IS a deep shade of blood red. Someday, I will restore it to a classic shade of black, but for now, it's an eyesore with a story behind it. According to the M&H homepage, this piano (serial # 10450) was built in 1897, but I only found that out in November of 1997. If I'd known that it turned 100 years old earlier that year, I would have bought it a present (i.e. refinished it) before the year ended. It could stand to be tuned, too.

I have started trading tapes as a hobby. Check out my tape list. I also have a site which contains pictures of local shows.

Here is a list of links of bands and artists I listen to way too much at the moment. Feel free to check out their sites. It's a proven fact that none of them have rabies and are also not prone to biting.
